Friday 9/9    

It has been a fantastic season for Perth Amboy Portuguese. Being it was the first time joining the Garden State Soccer League Semi-Pro Division, question on everyone mind was...Can they do it? Well, we can and yes we did. Not only did we do it but with one game left to play against Santorini, we have an impressive record of 11 wins, two ties, NO LOSES, 59 goals scored and 18 goals suffered. Big part of goals scored were not only a team effort but also the experience of Mark obtaining the trophy of best scorer of the Division. We are currently in the League playoffs fighting for a spot in the final. Sunday's game (6.12.11) at Perth Amboy High School vs Sport Club Portugues promises to be a must see game. I would like to thank all the staff, the fans, President Mr. Paul Francisco, and last but not least my players which I'm most proud of. Let's end the season with a bang.............
